I am seeking suitable PhD candidates in a range of research areas within the general areas of:
- High Performance Computing
- Parallel Computing
- Computer Science Education Research
Positions are contingent upon eligibility criteria and funding. I can assist in finding suitable funding. Examples of funding sources are the Irish Research Council’s Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme and the UCD Computer Science PhD Scholarship Programme. Both of these provide a tax-free stipend and funding to cover fees, travel, equipment and publishing costs. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact me here. Please include a CV, an explanation of why you would like to pursue a PhD, and why you are a suitable candidate for your chosen research area. If you would like guidance on a research area, feel free to contact me but please include a CV.
